Farrah Abraham is lonely.
Although the former Teen Mom star has made a living off her relationship with James Deen, which was featured in Farrah Superstar: Backdoor Teen Mom, the young mother has been unlucky in love, and in a new interview, she opened up about how writing has made it easier for her to cope.
"I have no relationships and I am sad sometimes so taking all this into consideration which some find it hard to, that's what brought me here today," Abraham explained, via an Aug. 21 report by Food World News. "This is my way of embracing my sexuality and being happy for me."
During MTV's first season of 16 & Pregnant, fans watched as Abraham welcomed her first child, daughter Sophia, without the help of the child's father, Derek Underwood, who had passed away just months before her birth. The news of Underwood's passing was understandably difficult for Abraham and ever since, she's struggled to find love.
Sure, she's had the occasional relationship, but nothing has stuck.
During season four of Teen Mom, Abraham dated a man named Daniel Alvarez, but after she expressed her interest in becoming engaged just weeks into their relationship, he went running. Several months later, Abraham began seeing John Parra, but their brief courtship ended after just a few weeks, as well.
In late 2013, Abraham claimed to be dating DJ Brian Dawe and was eventually cast alongside him on VH1's Couple's Therapy. However, in early 2014, it was revealed their relationship was a hoax created by Abraham in an effort to continue with her career in reality television.
