Two days later, the world is still reeling from Robin William's apparent suicide.
The beloved comedian and actor was found on Aug. 11 in his California home, which he shared with wife Susan Schneider, and according to a new report, Schneider has yet to return to the home.
"Susan hasn't gone back to the house," a source told Hollywood Life. "I jogged by there yesterday evening-there were flowers outside the house, but she was gone. No cars. No light. Nothing. The neighbor says Susan refuses to be there, let alone live another day inside."
Following Williams' tragic passing, Schneider publicly expressed her devastation over losing her "husband and [her] best friend, while the world lost one of its most beloved artists and beautiful human beings."
Williams, 63, was found dead in a slightly suspended, seated position with a belt around his neck on Monday afternoon. The other end of the belt was between a closed door and the doorframe, Marin County Sheriff's Lt. Keith Boyd said in a press conference on Aug. 12.
Williams and Schneider, a graphic designer, met in 2009. Shortly after the couple wed, they moved into their Tiburon home.
"As soon as Robin's in his final resting place, the house is going up for sale," the source added. "She absolutely can not be there. It's too frightening for her."
Our thoughts and prayers are with Robin William's family and friends during this difficult and pressing time.
