Yolanda Foster is doing her best to keep her daughter's legal trouble away from the cameras of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
According to a new report, Foster is concerned that her daughter Bella Hadid's recent DUI could be brought up on the show, and that if it is, her dreams of going to New York University could be lost.
"Yolanda has personally reached out to all of the cast members asking them to not bring up Bella's DUI arrest on camera," a source told Radar Online on Aug. 11. "There is concern that the arrest could hurt Bella's chances of getting into NYU. Older sister, Gigi attends NYU, and the girls are incredibly close."
Hadid, 17, was arrested in late July after cops pulled her over on Pacific Coast Highway. At the time of her arrest, it was said that Hadid nearly ran into an L.A. County Sheriff's Department patrol car after running a stop sign. When given the breathalyzer test, Hadid blew a .14, which is almost twice the local limit in California.
Although Foster hopes her co-stars will agree to her request, there's no telling what will happen until the series unfolds. After all, Foster has made an enemy or two on the show, and now, she's given them something to use against her.
“Of course, asking these ladies not to do something is inviting trouble!” the source noted. “It’s no secret that Lisa Vanderpump and Yolanda are no longer on friendly terms. Yolanda will shut down any attempted discussion of the arrest, but she can’t control what is said when she isn’t present!”
"The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" returns to Bravo this fall.
