Bethenny Frankel Engagement 2014: Host's Boyfriend Is Reportedly Ready To Propose

Bethenny Frankel may be getting married again.

A year and a half after parting ways with husband Jason Hoppy, the talk show host and former star of The Real Housewives of New York City is said to be on the verge of getting engaged to boyfriend Michael "Mac" Cerussi.

“He’s been telling pals that Bethenny is the one,” an insider told Life & Style on Aug. 7. “They’ve become very close since they started dating late last year. She met his mom; he’s met her daughter, Bryn – they’ve pretty much spent all summer by each other’s side.”

Frankel married husband Jason Hoppy in March 2010 and welcomed her daughter two months later. In Dec. 2012, Hoppy and Frankel separated and the following month, Frankel filed for divorce. Ever since, they have been locked in a bitter feud over Frankel's Skinnygirl earnings. However, their custody case involving Bryn was settled in June 2014.

In Jan. 2014, Frankel went public with financier Cerussi during a New Year's Eve celebration in Miami. The next day, pair were also spotted together on the beach in Miami.

Because Frankel's divorce is still ongoing, her and Cerussi's relationship, no matter how serious it may be, is at a stand still, and will remain that way until she and Hoppy are able to agree on their finances.

“They can’t truly move forward in the relationship while Bethenny is still battilng Jason,” the source explained.
