Martha Stewart Drone Love: It's A Good Thing!

Martha Stewart has declared her love for drones!

The lifestyle expert's personal essay titled, "Martha Stewart: Why I Love My Drone," was published by Time on Tuesday.

Stewart tweeted out her support for the piece on Wednesday and then hours later tweeted, "Drones are trending."

That's funny Martha! And almost a thousand re-tweeters of that brief post agree.

Last year, Stewart received a drone with a high-definition camera and become "hooked" on the capabilities, especially on its ability to take aerial landscape photos.

Stewart was so excited that she posted some beautiful farm photos taken by her security guard's drone to her blog earlier this month. There were so many views of the gallery that the website server crashed, reported ABC News.

"Since my farm has lots of open fields, Dominic thought it would be the best place to get acquainted with his new toy.  The results were amazing!" Stewart wrote on the blog. She also prompted the discussion on the future of drones in the post.

The home and living specialist has always encouraged new hobbies, and she thinks her Parrot AR Drone 2.0 is a good thing.

In the Time essay, Stewart went into detail about the progress of drones and the possibilities for the future.

"An aerial shot of the vegetable garden looked very much like my Peter Rabbit marzipan embellished Easter cake, which was designed without the help of a drone," Stewart wrote.

It's nice to see her excited about such a techy tool, but she's still Martha Stewart...mmm Easter cake!
