Tori Spelling says she will eventually tell her kids about her husband's infidelities.
After documenting her marriage troubles on her reality show, True Tori, Spelling wasn't left with much of a choice when it came to telling her kids about Dean McDermott's affair. However, when it does come time to fill her four children in on what their father did in Dec. 2013, Spelling plans to make the conversation a positive one.
"I hope to be able to have a very candid conversation with them one day because I hope we will have made it through this and made it out on the other side, and we survived something that was a tough thing," Spelling explained to Jason Kennedy during last night's episode of E! News.
At the end of last year, Us Weekly published an interview with 28-year-old Emily Goodhand, in which Goodhand claimed to have taken part in an affair with Dean McDermott during his time in Canada. In the interview, Goodhand told the magazine she had met McDermott earlier that month and claimed they had sex at the Fairmont Royal York Hotel.
Months after the publication hit the web, Spelling signed on to document her marriage troubles on True Tori, and while she and McDermott still have a lot of work to do as a couple, Spelling remains hopeful that they will one day get past McDermott's affair.
"We made it through and we can talk about it freely and say, 'You know, things aren't always easy and you've got to work on a relationship, and somethings things happen that isn't great but you move forward," she said. "I hope that's the case and I hope to be able to talk to them about it."
