Lupita Nyong'o is a ray of sunshine on the July cover of Elle France!
The yellow Giambattista Valli dress she's rocking belongs to the couture Fall 2013 line, reports US Weekly. This isn't Lupita's first magazine cover. "It was exciting and just a major, major compliment," Lupita told People about gracing the cover of their "50 Most Beautiful People" issue in April.
Ever since her Academy Award winning performance in 12 Years A Slave, Lupita has become a Hollywood darling. The flowing light blue Prada gown and genuine smile she wore to the ceremony will go down in Oscar history.
Shortly after her Oscar win, the fresh-faced Lupita became the new face of Lancôme, usually wearing a natural look that still incorporates bright shades of color.
"I am particularly proud to represent its unique vision for women and the idea that beauty should not be dictated, but should instead be an expression of a woman's freedom to be herself," Said Lupita according to People.
In addition to her striking features, her fashion sense especially grabs the attention of Harper's Bazaar Editor-At-Large Derek Blasberg, with Lupita featured on his "Mr. Blasberg's Best-Dressed List" several times.
In the interview with Vogue for the July cover, she revealed that in Kenya she designed her own clothes including her prom dress.
"It was kind of ridiculous, but it was fabulous at the time," Lupita told Vogue of her silver and velvet creation.
