Teresa Giudice recently spoke out about her return to The Real Housewives of New Jersey.
As Giudice and her husband, Joe, faced years behind bars for an alleged fraud scheme, Giudice signed a deal with Bravo to return to the show for its sixth season, and while things haven't been easy for the mother of four, she doesn't regret her decision to continue to expose her life on reality television.
"Now I’m in it and I don't want to stop," Giudice told PEOPLE Magazine on July 10. "This is my job and I want to keep going."
Last month, just weeks before her and Joe's sentencing was scheduled to take place, Joe's father, Frank Giudice, tragically died at the Giudice home as he was reportedly playing with the family's dog. Following the passing, the Giudice's oldest daughter, 13-year-old Gia, took to Twitter where she told fans the pain of Frank's death was "unreal."
Days after the tragedy, the Giudice's sentencing trial was postponed until Sept. 23, 2014, although it is unclear whether or not the decision for postponement was related to Frank's passing.
"We are mourning, and it’s just been devastating," Giudice told PEOPLE of her family's grief. "I feel bad for my husband and I’m just trying to be there for him and my kids. He was so close to us, and it happened at our house, so it’s just a lot to handle."
The Real Housewives of New Jersey season six premieres on July 13 at 8 p.m. on Bravo.
