Tori Spelling has removed her cheating husband from her social media pages.
According to a new report, Spelling recently changed her Twitter handle from "@ToriandDean" to @Tori_Spelling," and removed "Dean" from Instagram, as well. However, a source close to the actress claims it had nothing to do with any drama between them.
"Tori wanted to change it before her show Mystery Girls premiered," a source told Us Weekly. "She wanted to change it for a while."
On June 25, Spelling's new series, Mystery Girls, premiered on ABC Family. The series, which also features Spelling's former Beverly Hills, 90210 star Jennie Garth, follows two former detective TV show stars who have been brought back together by a real-life mystery.
Spelling's role in Mystery Girls marks her first non-reality gig since 2011, when she offered her voice to a character in an episode of Jake and the Never Land Pirates. Prior to that role, Spelling had starred in two episodes of The CW's 90210.
"She didn't want to do the new show press and have the Twitter be @jenniegarth and @torianddean," the source explained. "The @torianddean was one Oxygen made when she did the show."
Earlier this week, Spelling appeared on Good Morning America, where she discussed her marriage with husband Dean McDermott. In the interview, Spelling revealed that things between them were "getting better."
“Life is always a work in progress and our relationship is one as well, but we’re moving in the right direction,” she explained.
