Tamra Barney Custody Battle 2014: 'RHOC' Star Prays For Her Ex-Husband Simon

Tamra Barney may be embattled in a nasty custody case with her ex-husband, Simon Barney, but that isn't stopping her from being positive.

Following what was refered to as a "tense mediation session," the Real Housewives of Orange County star took to social media, where she spoke of Simon in a favorable manner.

“Thank you Simon for our beautiful children,” Barney wrote on Facebook, according to a June 17 report by Radar Online. “I hope you have a great day with them today.”

Earlier this month, Barney and her ex-husband appeared in court for mediation but were "unable to reach an agreement" in regard to the custody of their three children, Sydney, 15, Spencer, 13, and Sophia, 8.

In her Facebook post, Barney explained, “If it wasn’t for him, I would not have my beautiful children." Barney also excused Simon's recent claims, which include child neglect, blaming his own hurt for the issues between them.

“People try to hurt you because they are hurt," she told fans. "I pray for him every night knowing that.”

Although Barney appears to be staying positive at the moment, she was recently seen breaking down during an episode of The Real Housewives of Orange County.

During the show, Barney vented to a co-star, saying, "My whole life is consumed with this, and it’s probably one of the most devastating things I’ve ever gone through in my life. I cry probably every single day, and it’s hell.”

Barney is due back in court on June 25.
