Jenna Fischer Give Birth: Actress Welcomes Baby Girl With Husband Lee Kirk

Jenna Fischer and her husband, Lee Kirk, welcomed a daughter late last month.

After announcing their baby news in February, the actress and her director husband stayed mum on the child's due date, but have since confirmed the birth of their second child.

"We are pleased to announce the birth of our daughter Harper Marie Kirk," the couple told E! News in a June 14 statement. "Born May 25, 2014. The family is doing great. We are happy, healthy and sleepy."

Fischer and Kirk got married on July 3, 2010 after two years of dating. The marriage was the second for Fischer, who was previously married to screenwriter James Gunn (the brother of her childhood friend, Sean Gunn) from Oct. 2000 to Sept. 2007.

Fischer and Kirk's first child, son Weston, was born on Sept. 24, 2011.

During a Jan. 2013 interview with PEOPLE Magazine, via Celebrity Baby Scoop, Fischer gushed over the joys of motherhood.

“I love it 100 percent of the time. I honestly do,” Fischer explained. “I had really underestimated what I was capable of because, before I had him, I thought I needed things that I didn’t really need. I want nine hours of sleep, but it turns out I don’t need it!"

And although she may have been a bit sleep deprived, Fischer said she didn't notice because she was too busy spending time with her new baby.

"I’m not cranky during the day because … the excitement of being with him and watching him learn and watching him grow and being a facilitator of those things is so joyful,” she said.
