Sanaa Lathan Stalker: Man Slept In 'Love & Basketball' Star's Home

A man claiming to be Sanaa Lathan's husband was recently found sleeping in her home.

According to a new report, 28-year-old Shawn Caples was found at the home of the Love & Basketball star on Friday and is now sitting behind bars following an arrest for stalking.

"Sanaa Lathan is being stalked by a man claiming to be her husband who was discovered sleeping in her home," law enforcement sources told TMZ on June 13.

Lathan, who was most recently linked to San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick, is not currently married, nor does she appear to be dating.

On Friday, Caples was discovered in the laundry room of Lathan's home by contractors. Following their discovery, the men were able to get Caples off of the property, but later that day, he returned and the situation escalated. After Caples refused to leave the area, Lathan screamed at him, demanding he "get the f**k out of here," but Caples remained and Lathan called the police.

Caples was later arrested and charged with stalking. Upon his release, he will be ordered to stay at least 100 yards away from Lathan, who was granted a restraining order shortly after the incident took place.

Lathan's scary news comes on the heels of another celebrity stalking scare involving actress Sandra Bullock. On Sunday, June 8, Joshua James Corbett reportedly broke into Bullock's home (with her inside) and remained there for one hour before being removed.

Corbett has since been charged with felony counts of residential burglary, stalking and possession of a machine gun.
