Aviva Drescher is convinced her Real Housewives of New York City co-star, LuAnn de Lesseps, is trying to bring her down.
On a recent episode of the show, de Lesseps was seen confronting Drescher over allegations of her having invited Miss USA to a charity luncheon she was hosting with Hollywood Life's Bonnie Fuller. While Drescher claimed it was actually Fuller who invited the newly crowned Nana Meriwether, de Lesseps wasn't convinced and Drescher has since discussed the issue in her blog.
"In Housewifeville, we don’t let the truth distract us from our attacks,” Drescher wrote in her blog of de Lesseps' claims, according to Radar Online. “LuAnn didn’t have any trouble rallying the clique at my party to join her on the chorus. Then it becomes my word against theirs and I’m overwhelmed. It doesn’t matter that the truth is right up there on the screen.”
Earlier in the episode, it was alleged that Drescher's father, George Teichner, and his fiance, Dana Lavette Cody, had engaged in a threesome with Meriwether. So, for de Lesspes, she felt that Drescher had invited her to the event in order to create drama and distract from the charity.
Drescher, on the other hand, said she had nothing to do with it and claimed Fuller admitted to inviting the woman on her Instagram page at the time of the event. Drescher also claimed de Lesseps made a big deal of the issue because she is out to get her, which was clear when she chose to confront her during Drescher's party instead of the luncheon, where the issue took place.
