Jaime King Breastfeeding: Actress Shares Photo On Social Media

Jaime King is the latest celebrity to share a breastfeeding photo.

Earlier this week, King, who currently stars on Hart of Dixie, took to Instagram, where she shared an intimate breastfeeding photo with fans, declaring that the act of breastfeeding should not be considered "taboo."

"James Knight is now 8 months old!" King captioned the photo, via Us Weekly. "These are the moments a mother lives for. Breastfeeding should not be taboo - and bottle feeding should not be judged—it's ALL fun for the whole family."

The 35-year-old actress welcomed her first child, son James Knight Newman, on Oct. 6, 2013, with husband Kyle Newman, whom she met during the filming of Fanboys.

After King's photo was posted, she was praised by fans on Instagram, who commended her for "normalizing" breastfeeding. One fan commented on the photo (which has since been liked by over 18,000 fans), stating that breastfeeding was "priceless and beautiful."

Other celebrities who have shared photos of themselves breastfeeding include models Gisele Bündchen, Miranda Kerr and Doutzen Kroes, reality star Kailyn Lowry, singer Pink and actresses Julie Bowden and Teresa Palmer.

Along with the photo of herself and daughter Vivian Lake, Bündchen told fans, “Some people here think they don’t have to breastfeed, and I think, ‘Are you going to give chemical food to your child, when they are so little?’ There should be a worldwide law, in my opinion, that mothers should breastfeed their babies for six months.”
