Teresa Giudice is reportedly working on a new book.
Currently facing timing behind bars, the Real Housewives of New Jersey star is said to have found solace in writing about her legal journey and fears for a new tell-all book.
“Teresa is working furiously on a book about what’s going on now with her,” the source told Radar Online on June 3. “She’s been approached and offered big money for her tell-all. There are a lot of publishers who want to get her locked down and make sure they have the book in-house.”
On July 29, 2013, Teresa and her husband, Joe Giudice, were charged with conspiracy to commit mail fraud and wire fraud, bank fraud, making false statements on loan applications, and bankruptcy fraud in a 39-count indictment. One month later, they both plead not guilty. However, on March 4, 2014, after reportedly striking a deal with federal prosecutors, Teresa and Joe, who are the parents to four girls, entered a guilty plea to 41 counts of fraud, two of which were added in Oct. 2013.
Under federal guidelines, Joe is facing between 37 to 46 months in prison, while Teresa could get 21 to 27 months. In addition, Joe, who was born in Italy, is facing a possible deportation.
“Teresa’s covering all of the tough times that she’s going through. Everything, including how she’s prepping the family for jail time for Joe and maybe even her, which she is praying doesn’t happen," the source explained. "And she’s going to admit everything that really happened as well as her fears about jail.”
Teresa and Joe are due back in court on July 8, 2014, at which point they will receive their sentencing and find out whether or not Joe will be sent back to Italy.
