Farrah Abraham may not have been fired from Teen Mom, as reports have claimed.
In a new interview, the young mommy turned sex tape star is speaking out about her career with MTV, telling fans that there is no truth to the rumor of her getting fired by MTV ahead of a possible fifth season of Teen Mom.
"That's not true," Abraham told The Huffington Post, according to a June 2 report by Wetpaint Entertainment. "I'm not going to comment, I think you should ask MTV that."
In March 2014, over one year after Abraham, Catelynn Lowell, Maci Bookout and Amber Portwood said good-bye to Teen Mom after four seasons, it was reported by Us Weekly that MTV was planning on a reboot. In the months prior, the network aired four catch-up specials, featuring each of the four girls, and because the specials were so successful, the network had plans to bring back the series. However, according to the same report, Lowell, Bookout and Portwood weren't willing to come aboard for a fifth season if Abraham was involved.
When contacted about the report, Abraham told the magazine, "I have my own life."
She also has her own ideas, and during the interview with The Huffington Post, revealed she would like to see a different sort of teen mom show, in which she would compete against the other girls.
"I think it would be awesome to have a Teen Mom show where we compete to see who is the best mom," she explained, adding, "I think at the end of the day I would be."
