Sofia Vergara is a single woman after reportedly splitting from fiancé, Nick Loeb.
Around midnight last night, the Modern Family actress took to her WhoSay account, where she revealed that she and Loeb had decided to part ways.
"Not that anyone should care, but in order to not give the press the chance to invent crazy and hurtful drama, I prefer to tell my fans personally that Nick and I have desided to be apart," Vergara wrote. "We have been having too many problems with figuring out how to spend time together and becouse of my work and now his, it's been getting worse and worse, not fun anymore."
Vergara and Loeb began dating in 2010 (they met two years earlier) and made their red carpet debut at a Golden Globe Awards party that same year. In December 2010, the couple hit a rocky point in their relationship after Loeb was injured in a car accident. After Vergara put her focus on nursing him back to health, she admitted it had caused a strain in their relationship. And while they got through it together, they split nearly two years later.
"They've been fighting for a long time," a source told Us Weekly in May 2012. "It just ended officially before the weekend."
However, the breakup didn't last, and two months later, in July 2012, the pair was back on and engaged to be married.
Also on WhoSay, Vergara added, "We are still very close but we belive is the best thing for us right now."
