Kelly Clarkson Due Date: 'American Idol' Winner Will Give Birth To Baby Girl In June

Kelly Clarkson will welcome her first child this summer.

Ahead of the birth of her baby girl, the American Idol winner has set up a baby registry, filled with a list of gifts her friends and family can spoil her with—and the baby's due date.

On May 12, Radar Online revealed details of the Babies R Us registry, which included Clarkson's daughter's due date of June 18. Oddly, Clarkson's choice of gifts didn't appear to be catered to the child's gender.

"[Clarkson] wasn’t thinking pink when she picked out potential gifts," Radar's source explained. "She opted for more unisex goodies with an emphasis on animals — from monkeys and zebras to ducks and owls."

In total, the 83 gifts amounted to nearly $3,000.

Clarkson and husband Brandon Blackstock eloped in Oct. 2013 and two months later, revealed they were expecting their first child together. During an appearance on The Ellen Degeneres Show, Clarkson explained that although she was excited for motherhood, the pregnancy hadn't been easy -- at least thus far. In addition to constant morning sickness, Clarkson was experiencing hair loss and a lack of "pregnancy glow."

At the end of last month, while celebrating her birthday, Clarkson tweeted her hopes for her new baby.

"It's my birthday!!!!" she wrote. "For my birthday I have asked my unborn baby girl to sleep through the night and laugh a lot when she comes out."

Although the child will be the first for Clarkson, she has reportedly gotten plenty of practice with her husband's two children from his previous marriage, Savannah, 12, and Seth, 8.
