Amy Purdy apparently suffered a devastating injury on Monday night's Dancing With The Stars and was immediately rushed to the hospital during filming.
After dancing the Rumba with partner Derek Hough and receiving a 36 out of 40 from the judges, Purdy injured her back, causing her to experience intense pain in her back and seek medical help.
"My shoulder's been bothering me a little bit," Purdy explained to host Erin Andrews after it happened. "It's been fine, though, just kind of sore. And then right after judging I turned my head and my back cracked and it just seized up and everything's painful right now. It's hard to breathe."
Following the interview with Andrews, Purdy was taken to the hospital where she tweeted to fans, thanking them for their support and updating them on her condition.
"Thanks for your support everyone!" she wrote, according to Us Weekly. "The [doctor] thinks it's muscular, still waiting on the official word."
Hough was reportedly by her side as she was taken to the hospital.
Later in the show, Purdy and Hough were expected to take part in a team dance with other members of the cast, but since they were unable, their team dance rehearsal was played back and scored by the judges.
No word yet on whether or not Purdy will return to the competition for the upcoming week eight dances.
