Tamera Mowry-Housley is down to 127 pounds and feeling great.
After giving birth in Nov. 2012, the former Sister, Sister star is back in a bikini and telling all about her diet and exercise plan.
“It’s the first time I’ve been in a bikini since my honeymoon,” Mowry-Housley told In Touch Weekly on April 24. “I feel great!”
Mowry-Housley is married to FOX News correspondent Adam Housley and the pair have one child, Aden, born on Nov. 12, 2012. After nearly six years of dating, the couple were married on May 15, 2011 in California's Napa Valley.
Since welcoming her son, Mowry-Housley has taken it slow in the weight loss department, choosing to enjoy her son's younger years, as opposed to spending countless hours working out in hopes at getting back her pre-baby figure.
Once Mowry-Housley stopped breastfeeding Aden (he was 7-months-old at the time), she began dieting, cutting 500 calories from her 1,700-calories-a-day nursing diet, and exercising five days a week. Although the diet and fitness plan worked well for Mowry-Housley at first, she struggled when it came to losing the last several pounds of baby weight.
“Losing the last 5 -10lbs is the hardest thing you’ll ever have to do,” Tamera revealed to Hip Hollywood in March 2014. ”Harder I think than having a baby… you have to shock the body, like eat clean if you’ve never done it before, that’s what I did.”
