Bethenny Frankel will not be returning to Bravo as a housewife.
Although Bravo exec Andy Cohen personally asked his good friend to return to The Real Housewives of New York City, Frankel has rejected his offer, reportedly feeling that she has "moved on" from reality TV.
“Honchos at the network asked [Andy] to reach out to Bethenny and ask her if she would be open to making a return to RHONY,” an insider told Radar Online on April 17. “The hope was she would come back as a regular cast member, but Bethenny was also offered a guest role."
Ever since Frankel's daytime talk show, Bethenny, was cancelled in Feb. 2014, the rumor mill has been buzzing about what Frankel's next move would be, but the majority of reports regarding her future involved a deal with Bravo.
In one instance, Radar reported Frankel was eyeing a gig as co-host on Cohen's late night talk show, Watch What Happens Live, in a separate report by the same site, it was said that Frankel was in talks for her own show, which would also land her in a guest spot on The Real Housewives of New York City.
Whatever the case, Frankel will not be returning to the network in a full-time role on RHONY and immediately turned Cohen down when the idea was proposed.
“Bethenny didn’t even take time to think it over [before saying] no,” the source revealed. “She has absolutely no plans at this time to return to reality television. She believes she has moved on from that.”
