Former 'Real Housewives Of Orange County' Star Lydia McLaughlin Is Pregnant With Her Third Child

Lydia McLaughlin and her husband Doug are expecting their third child.

On Friday, McLaughlin's rep confirmed the exciting baby news to Us Weekly.

"Lydia is hoping for a girl!" the rep revealed. "Both Lydia and Doug are so excited to be adding to their beautiful family."

McLaughlin's third child is due in November and joins big brothers Stirling, 5, and Maverick, 3.

Last year, after starring in The Real Housewives of Orange County's season eight, McLaughlin announced that she had decided not to return to the highly popular series for its ninth season. At the time, she said that she and Doug wanted to have another child and focus on business.

"I never wanted to make a career out of being a housewife. That's never really been a dream of mine," McLaughlin explained of her exit. "I want to build my brand outside of the Housewives -- I've always been really honest with the producers about that. I knew that while I was filming it that I probably wasn't going to be doing it again."

In addition to her baby news, McLaughlin is also about to embark on another fun project -- a book. According to Us Weekly, McLaughlin is in talks to publish an inspirational tome that doubles as a personal memoir and Bible study course.

Meanwhile, The Real Housewives of Orange County's ninth season is set to debut on April 14 at 9 p.m. on Bravo.
