Pregnant 'Teen Mom 2' Star Jenelle Evans Is "Really Upset" After Boyfriend Nathan Griffith Goes To Jail For Third DUI

Jenelle Evans is really upset that her boyfriend, Nathan Griffith, has been jailed for his third DUI.

Now seven months pregnant, Evans, who is currently starring on MTV's Teen Mom 2, is quickly nearing her due date, but sadly, Griffith will remain behind bars until just before their son is due.

“Jenelle is really upset and didn’t want Nathan to go away for so long,” a source close to Evans told Radar Online.

On Wednesday morning, Griffith, 26, was dealt a 60-day sentence for charges stemming from his Sept. 2013 DUI arrest, which include resisting arrest, driving with a suspended license and threatening an official in performance duty. As for his DUI, Starcasm reports that he will address the issue during a May 5 trial. At that point, if found guilty, Griffth could receive even more time. However, since he refused to take a Breathalyzer (as fans saw on Tuesday night's Teen Mom 2), cops may not have the evidence they need to move forward with the charges.

“Jenelle and Nathan knew about his sentence for a while but they were keeping it quiet," the source explained. "They accepted responsibility for what he did."

As Griffith serves his sentence, Evans plans to lay low and prepare for the arrival of her second son.

“Jenelle is just going to hang out at home while he’s in jail," the source said. "She said she was going to clean her apartment, chill out and spend time with Jace until Nathan gets back.”

Evans and Griffith's baby is due on June 29, 2014.
