Kristen Bell Talks Parenthood, Wants To Be A Full-Time, Hands On Mom

Kristen Bell is a full-time mom and loving every minute of it.

In a new interview, Bell is opening up about being at home with her baby, 13-month-old Lincoln, now that her promotional tours have wrapped.

"I'm back with baby full-time, which is so nice," Bell told Us Weekly. "I want to be very hands on. I want to cook for my family and feel present for them. I'm always missing her when I'm not there."

After dating since 2007 and becoming engaged in Jan. 2010, Bell and her then-fiance Dax Shepard welcomed daughter Lincoln Bell Shepard, born in March 2013. Several months later, on Oct. 17, 2013, the pair were married in a "no frills" ceremony at the Beverly Hills County Clerk's Office.

In 2012, Bell and Shepard worked together on Hit & Run, which was said to be "sort of" based on their real-life romance. And two years later, Bell is hoping to soon reunite on the big screen.

"He's been hired to write so many other projects for other people," Bell said. "I'm always walking into the room and saying, 'Well hey, if there's a part in there that you could throw the old bags' way that'd be great.'"

While on her promotional tour for Frozen in Aug. 2013, Bell gushed that her baby girl was "intoxicating," and said she hoped Lincoln, who was five-months-old at the time, would grow to love the film.
