Danica Patrick is telling all about her diet and exercise routine.
Patrick takes her health seriously and when it comes to staying fit, she goes all out with tough workouts and strict diets.
"I feel like I finally know what it's like to work out really hard," Patrick told E! News. "I guess it first started with those Insanity DVDs…and then I started doing CrossFit last year and then you add on competition on top of super intense workouts and you had me at hello."
Patrick, who is 5'2'' and weighs in at just 100 pounds, said that she participated in CrossFit routines as many days a week as she is home, which is sure to have a huge impact on her figure. After all, the routines incorporate high-intensity interval training, olympic weightlifting, powerlifting, gymnastics, strongman exercises and other exercises.
However, despite the toughness of her workouts, Patrick said her diet plays an even bigger part in her keeping her small frame.
"If you don't eat right or you eat too much, then it doesn't matter how much you work out," she explained. "I eat oatmeal and I've recently tried a little bit more restrictive diet."
After having a few blood tests done, Patrick learned that she had a few food intolerances. As a result, she cut out gluten, dairy, whey, yeast and eggs. Making the adjustments to her diet hasn't always been easy, because of the restrictions, but when it comes to her health, Patrick has seen a difference in her body.
"I've been doing it for a couple of months and it works. It really does," she added.
