Bethenny Frankel is on the brink of landing a new reality show, but dealing with her demands hasn't been easy for her potential bosses.
According to a new report, the former talk show host and Real Housewives of New York City star has a list of requirements -- and if they aren't met, she will move on to other offers.
“Bethenny has crazy demands because she is coming from a place where she had her own show and was the highest paid housewife when she left the housewives,” a source told Radar Online on March 31. “It’s going to be a multimillion dollar deal 100%. She expects to be paid more than what she was paid when she was on Real Housewives of New York.”
In 2008, Frankel landed a role on The Real Housewives of New York City. Years later, she went on to star in her own show, Bethenny Getting Married?, which was later renamed Bethenny Ever After. In 2012, Frankel made her talk show debut, appearing as the host of Bethenny in test markets that summer. One year later, the series made its nationwide debut on FOX, but unfortunately, it was canceled months later, on Feb. 14, 2014.
Now that Frankel isn't tied to a network or the resposibilities of a daily talk show, she's focused on plotting out her television comeback and determined to get everything she wants out of the deal.
“She wants everything: hair and makeup and wardrobe,” the source explains. “She’ll also need a stylist — and everything will have to be paid for by the network.”
Frankel is even demanding a producer title. “She’ll also have to be a producer on the show," the source explained. "She wouldn’t do it if she wasn’t producing.”
At this point, it is unclear where Frankel will end up when it comes to her network of choice, but many reports have claimed she is currently in talks with Bravo. But if she does return to her former network, they will have some demands of their own.
“If she makes a deal with Bravo, she will have to make cameos on Housewives,” the source claimed. “Part of the deal would be, if she would get her own show, she would have to make cameos because the ratings on RHONY are so low.”
