Scarlett Johansson may be starting a family, but that doesn't mean she's ready to say goodbye to her career.
In an interview prior to her baby news, the Captain America actress opened up about wanting to have it all with her career and future family.
"It seems so stressful to not be able to spend time with your family because you're constantly chasing the tail of your own success," Johansson said in the April issue of Wall Street Journal Magazine. "There must exist a world in which I can balance those things, be able to raise a family and still make a film a year, or work on my own, develop things, do theater. I want to be able to have it all."
Earlier this month, it was reported that Johansson was five-months pregnant with her first child with fiance Romain Dauriac, the owner of an advertisement agency. The couple began dating in Nov. 2012 and got engaged in Sept. 2013.
Although the pregnancy has yet to be confirmed by Johansson herself, she was seen sporting a baby bump on the red carpet on Feb. 28, and again on March 20.
Despite her high hopes for a world of having it all post-family, Johansson knows that making it happen may not be easy.
"I know that with that there will be some sacrifices," Johansson noted.
