Jon Gosselin has gotten word of Kate's new TLC special, and he's not too happy that his kids are going to be returning to TV.
Over two years after the children were last seen on the network, Jon is devastated to hear that his already over-exposed children will be getting even more attention coming their way.
“I was heartbroken to learn my children are participating in yet another TV project, especially an ‘update’ special,” Jon told E! News. “Even without a current television show, they still live a very public life. They’re still constantly in and out of the media; updates are given practically daily via social media.”
Last week, news broke that Kate, and her and Jon's eight children, would be returning to the network that made them famous for a one-hour special which would air this summer and get fans caught up on what she and the kids have been up to since Kate Plus 8 wrapped in 2011.
Speaking of TLC, Jon said he was "outraged" the cable network “didn’t feel the situation warranted even a simple phone call to me.” He also said he hopes “no one watches it.”
In addition to being an update special, the special is said to include a look back at the family's most memorable moments throughout their TV career, which began with their Surviving Sextuplets and Twins and Sextuplets and Twins: One Year Later specials, and later led to their own series, Jon & Kate Plus 8.
Kate's unnamed TLC special is set to air this June.
