Is Selena Gomez And Taylor Swift's Friendship On The Rocks Because Of Justin Bieber?

Taylor Swift is reportedly distancing herself from former best friend Selena Gomez.

Although Swift and Gomez have been close for years, Gomez' relationship with Swift has become strained since Gomez decided to get back together with her on-again, off-again boyfriend Justin Bieber.

“Taylor loves Selena and they get along super well, but it’s hard for her to watch her best friend keep going back to Justin when she knows it’s the worst thing for her,” the source told Radar Online. “She feels like maybe Selena needs tough love."

According to the report, Swift believes Justin is "disgusting" and has communicated her thoughts with Gomez, telling her she can't support the relationship -- and that their friendship is bound to suffer if Gomez continues her relationship with Bieber.

“Taylor may not have the best reputation with her dating life but at least she doesn’t keep going back to the same loser over and over again like Selena does,” the source said. “Selena’s parents and friends can’t stand Justin, but for some reason she just doesn’t care. She’s blinded by him and not realizing what and who she’s losing.”

After breaking up in early 2012 after two years of dating, Gomez and Bieber went their separate ways, but months later, they appeared to be rekindling their relationship. Ever since, they have been spotted together every few months and despite their not being official, they seem to always end up back together.

On Friday, March 7, after several months apart, Gomez and Bieber were seen together once again in Texas, where Gomez was scheduled to perform the next night. In the days following their reunion, Bieber made it no secret that he and Gomez were spending time together once again. In addition to tweeting about Gomez's concert, Bieber also posted a video of himself and Gomez dancing at a Texas studio.
