Savannah Guthrie is both married and pregnant.
The Today anchor announced the exciting news on the NBC morning show on Monday, March 17, surrounded by her co-anchors.
"I -- well, we -- are four months pregnant," Guthrie said of herself and longtime love, Mike Feldman. "We are so excited, overjoyed and feel so blessed."
Guthrie also acknowledged that she and her communications strategist beau tied the knot on Saturday, March 15, in "the middle of the desert" in her hometown of Tucson, Ariz. But the marriage wasn't the result of the pregnancy -- it was something they planned before Guthrie discovered she was expecting.
"It's funny, 'cause we set the wedding date, I bought my dress, and then I found out," Guthrie, now 4-months pregnant, explained. "So I've been doing a little praying that I would fit in it, and it all worked out."
During the broadcast, Guthrie shared several photos from her big day and told viewers that the wedding was "everything I could have dreamed."
"You were a beautiful bride," Matt Lauer said to Guthrie, who had worn a Monique Lhuiller A-line belted gown.
Along with Lauer, Al Roker, Natalie Morales and Willie Geist were in attendance as Guthrie married Feldman, and conspired with Guthrie to keep the affair a secret.
After three years of dating, Guthrie announced her engagement in May 2013, showing off her diamond engagement ring live on Today and on Twitter.
As for her pregnancy, Guthrie, who is in her second trimester, stated, "I feel great, and actually I'm so happy to the the world, because I can't suck in this gut any more."
