Danielle Gregorio's husband, Joe Gregorio, is not gay, despite reports to the contrary.

Although the Gregorios have yet to make their official Real Housewives of Orange County debut, the pair are already dealing with the rumors that come with being part of a reality show.

Last month, a website reported that Joe is "secretly gay" and using Danielle as his "long-time beard." And now, Joe's lawyers are speaking out on his behalf, insisting Joe is not gay and threatening legal action against anyone who states otherwise.

"Rumors regarding Joe's sexuality and that he is gay are false and untrue," the the statement, provided to The Examiner by Frederick & Associates on March 4, read. "Joe is a loving husband and father to his three children and has never been unfaithful to Danielle during their time together. Joe takes these defamatory statements against him, his wife and his family very seriously and is exploring any and all legal options to eradicate them."

Danielle has been filming with the cast of The Real Housewives of Orange County, including Vicki Gunvalson, Heather Dubrow, and Tamra Barney, who are returning for the series' ninth season.

Danielle is also joined by fellow new housewives Shannon Beador and Elizabeth "Lizzie" Rovsek, who were brought aboard by Bravo after they cut Alexis Bellino and Gretchen Rossi from the series, following the show's eighth installment.

No premiere date for The Real Housewives of Orange County season nine has yet been announced.
