Aaron Carter wants his ex-girlfriend Hilary Duff back in his life.
Just two months after Duff and husband Mike Comrie announced their split, her former love interest, Carter, has revealed to the world that she is the love of his life.
On Wednesday, Carter took to Twitter where he told fans of his feelings.
"Don't be that stupid d***he that loses the love of your life forever.. Like me...," Carter tweeted on March 5. Then, when a fan tweeted back to him, saying, "Please tell me you're talking about Hilary Duff," Carter said, "Sure am."
Carter and Duff reportedly dated from 2000-2002, at which point Carter began dating Lindsay Lohan. At the time, their love triangle caused quite the media stir -- especially after Carter bragged about exchanging Duff for Lohan.
"I started dating Hilary on my 13th birthday... I was dating her for like a year-and-a-half and then I just got a little bored so I went and I started getting to know Lindsay, dating Lindsay," Carter explained during an interview with The Big Idea. "Then I didn't want to do that anymore, so I got back with Hilary. And then I ended up cheating on Hilary with her best friend. [Duff] really got her heart broken from me and I'm sorry for that."
In January, Duff and Comrie officially announced that they were separating after three years of marriage and one child together.
Following the separation, reports surfaced, claiming the couple had lost the spark. However, they have continued on with a friendship and even went away together, with son Luca, 23-months, on Valentine's Day.
Duff has yet to comment on Carter's tweets.
