Giuliana Rancic Opens Up About Her "Amazing" Surrogate

Giuliana Rancic is opening up about the amazing surrogate who helped her welcome her first child.

Giuliana and her husband, Bill, welcomed son Edward Duke on August 29, 2012 via surrogate, and ever since, the Fashion Police co-host has raved about the process and the woman she and Bill selected.

On Friday, during an airing of Ryan Seacrest's KIIS-FM morning show, a caller wanted to know more about surrogacy, so Seacrest called his longtime friend and co-worker, who opened up about her experiences.

"She was amazing...literally I think she carried the baby maybe even better than I would have carried the baby," Rancic said. "She was so devoted and such a good person. There are so many women out there who want to help who are such amazing women. They're like angels."

Rancic also noted that "whether it's adoption or surrogacy or you have a baby naturally...at the end of the day it's your baby. It doesn't matter how you got it. You're going to give it love and care for the rest of its life and that's all that matters."

"You will be surprised by the amount of support you will get from your friends and the amount of other women that will come up to you and say, 'I did the same thing.' It will make you feel so much better," she added. "You will realize that you are not alone in this. It will be the best thing you've ever done."

For the last several years, fans have enjoyed getting to know the Rancics on their Style Network reality show, Giuliana & Bill. However, after the network went under last year, the couple was forced to move to another network, the E! Network, which will begin airing the series, starting with the latest season in April.

On the upcoming seventh installment, the Rancics will decide on where life will take them next. From their decision to have another child to their decision to possibly move full-time to Chicago, fans will get to see it all go down when the show returns.
