Lauren Conrad Sets Wedding Date, Will Marry William Tell This Fall

Lauren Conrad and William Tell will tie the knot this fall after a year-long engagement.

“They’ll walk down the aisle this fall,” an insider revealed to In Touch Weekly on Feb. 27. “Lauren is in full-on wedding-planning mode and loving it.”

But while most celebrities hire top-grade wedding planners, Conrad has took on the project herself.

“She’s designing the entire thing herself, including her wedding dress,” explained the insider. “She’s so excited to see her vision come to life.”

In Nov. 2013, following her October engagement, a Conrad source spoke out about the upcoming wedding.

"She wants to take her time and enjoy the process," the friend told Us Weekly. Another pal added, "Lauren would like to get married next year, possible in the early fall."

Although Conrad plans to do most of the planning herself, she will let Tell, who was a former guitarist and vocalist for Something Corporate, handle the music.

"[Tell] will have a lot to do with the music," said the source. "She wants Will to share his opinions. She's not going to be a bridezilla!"

Conrad and Tell began dating in Feb. 2012 after being set up on a blind date by mutual friends. On Oct. 12, 2013, they became engaged.

Prior to her relationship with Tell, Conrad dated a handful of her reality co-stars including Stephen Colletti, Jason Wahler, and Brody Jenner, as well as actor Kyle Howard, with whom she had a three-year relationship from 2008-2011.
