Cedric Martinez is speaking out, denying claims that his former friend Lisa Vanderpump had him deported, and claiming that both Vanderpump, and Brandi Glanville, are using him for an interesting story line on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
"To be clear, I was not deported," Martinez revealed to Radar Online. "[Glanville] tells little white lies to amp up the drama."
On an episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, which aired earlier this month, Glanville claimed that Vanderpump had Martinez deported back to England after he crossed her, and said that because of what she did to him, she feared with Vanderpump could do to her if she called her out for her manipulating ways.
"Brandi cleverly spread the 'Lisa had Cedric deported' rumors as the other women were beginning to realize how conniving Lisa really is," Martinez continued. "It's mildly amusing that whenever they need an interesting story line, they use me."
According to Martinez, he was actually the one who got Glanville her gig with Bravo, so when he expected to see her go to bat for him and saw nothing, he was extremely upset.
"At the time, I was furious," he recalled. "I'd just been betrayed and fired because of Lisa's vicious lies. I was naive; expecting Brandi to do the right thing and support me, as I had supported her. Instead, she dropped me like a hot potato."
During season two of the series, Glanville was introduced to fans as a friend of Adrienne Maloof, but later appeared with Martinez at Vanderpump's SUR Lounge grand opening, much to the dismay of Vanderpump who sent him on his way, telling him he wasn't welcome.
Following his appearance, Martinez told Star Magazine that he and Brandi weren't friends and that their friendship was actually put together by producers of the show in an effort to cause drama for Vanderpump.
