Tenley Molzahn and Kiptyn Locke were one of Bachelor nation's most popular couples for years, prior to their Jan. 2013 breakup. And now, over one year later, they are well on their way to reclaim their title.

In a new interview, Molzahn has revealed that she and Locke have been back together "for several months."

"It's a new, healthy place for us where we don't have to live up to the pressures of what we were feeling," Molzahn told PEOPLE Magazine on Saturday, Feb. 22. "I'm happy, and I think we both know where we want it to head. The purpose and the goal is marriage and family."

Molzahn and Locke first met after starring on the hit ABC franchise, Molzhan on The Bachelor season 14, and Locke on The Bachelorette's fifth season. Following their nearly successful run on each of the shows (they were both the runners up), they went on to star together on the first season of Bachelor Pad, where they began dating in 2010.

Then, after nearly three years, the pair parted ways, telling PEOPLE in Mar. 2013 that they had decided to "take a break" to focus on "philanthropic and personal growth" a couple of months prior.

Also in Molzahn's latest interview with PEOPLE, she explained why it is so important, now more than ever, that she and Locke keep their romance away from the constant speculation of the public.

"It wasn't something that we thought we needed to make public," she explained. "It's so important to us, and people thought that we got together through a TV show, which was a big piece of it, but then it was so public and for us there's nothing to hide, but being away from that spotlight is such a new, healthy thing for us."

Now that they are back on, Molzahn and Locke have picked up where they left off, and recently celebrated their reconciliation with a romantic Valentine's Day getaway to the Hotel Del Coronado in San Diego.

"[Locke] surprised me with a gondola ride, in a real Venetian boat from Italy," Molzahn revealed. "It was so beautiful."
