Khloe Kardashian Embarks On Extreme Diet, Participates In Morning Fasting

Khloe Kardashian has been looking to be down a few sizes as of late, and while that would appear to be the result of tons of exercise, as she's seen at her Los Angeles gym nearly daily, a new report claims that Kardashian has taken on an extreme diet.

"Khloe's doing morning fasting and doesn't eat a single thing until around 2pm," a source revealed to Heat Magzine. "She only has a small piece of chicken or a can of tuna and steamed veggies for lunch, snacking on celery until dinner when she has a protein shake and more vegetables."

"Everyone in her life is begging her to eat more, but Khloe is refusing," the source explained. "She's not in a good place. Her self-esteem took such a hit when she broke up with Lamar."

Kardashian and Odom's relationship was strained for months leading up to Kardashian's divorce filing. Prior to the filing, Odom was accused of having affairs with at least three women, and was reportedly heavy into drug use.

Although Kardashian and Odom seemed to hint at a reconciliation in November when Odom joined her at the birthday party of her mother, Kris Jenner, any hope ended when Kardashian filed for divorce on Dec. 13, 2013.

Since then, Kardashian has been focusing on business, her reality show, and hitting the gym hard.

Going through a divorce can be a difficult time, but Kardashian has a lot of great things happening with the Kardashian brand and needs to maintain her health, which may not be possible on this diet.

As dietician Chloe Phillips told Radar, "The human body will struggle on 800 calories, let alone half of this."
