Bradley Cooper may be known for his good looks -- he was named PEOPLE Magazine's Sexiest Man Alive in 2011 -- but even he has flaws. In a new report, it is revealed that Cooper is secretly battling baldness.
"[Cooper] is so anxious about his receding hairline that he’s turned to [balding remedy] Propecia," a source revealed to Radar Online on Feb. 19. And luckily, the product appears to be doing the trick.
"[Cooper] has a lot of bald guys in his family, so he’s been on Propecia for a couple of years,” the source claimed. “And to his delight, it seems to be working.”
In 2013's American Hustle, Cooper sported a thick, curly hairstyle and while there were no extensions needed for the look, getting Cooper's hair looking full was a three-hour ordeal.
“We curled the hair one day [with curlers],” Cooper told The Los Angeles Times about the process. “We put 110 curlers in, and then I sat underneath a heat lamp for 45 minutes on each side, and then it was moved. The whole thing was three hours.”
During the production of The Hangover 3, Cooper, along with Ed Helms and Zack Galifianakis, “had their own dedicated hairstylists, a first for the franchise and something that was demanded by Bradley,” because of his sensitivity about his receding hairline.
At this point, Cooper's use of Propecia appears to be aiding him quite nicely when it comes to battling baldness, but he still, at times, worries that he could lose his hair.
“Bradley is determined not to go bald and lose his leading man looks,” the source added.
