Has Lea Michele let her fame go to her head? According to some reports, the Glee actress has become a diva in recent years. However, she denies all claims, saying that it is "frustrating" to hear such rumors.

“'I am a very outspoken person, and if something makes me uncomfortable, you will know that it makes me uncomfortable,” Michele said in UK's We Love Pop Magazine. “But that's as far as it goes.”

In 2010, a source spoke to Us Weekly, claiming that "Lea acts like she's better than the rest of the cast."

"She's sweet, but she has her moments," the source explained. "She has very clear ideas about what she wants to do and how she wants to look. I think she's just Type-A, like her character." The source also said that Michele sang along to her own songs when she heard them.

"They (the cast) can deal with her in small doses, but sometimes she's too much to handle," a second source told The NY Daily News. "She acts like she's the only star on the show and it has become an uncomfortable situation when she gives attitude to the people around her. Everyone on the cast loves each other like family, including Lea. They've learned how to put up with her attitude so far, but she's going to have to tone it down."

“I can assure that [diva rumors] aren't real,” she explained to We Love Pop. “It's super frustrating sometimes, and I used to fight back, but now I feel like, 'You can think what you want to think about me–that’s OK.''

Michele began her acting career in 1995 when she starred in Broadway's Les Miserables as Young Cosette. From there, Michele continued on Broadway in Ragtime, Fiddler On The Roof, and Spring Awakening, before beginning her career in television and movies.

Since 1998, Michele has appeared in four movies, including Glee: The 3D Concert Movie, New Year's Eve, and Legends of Oz: Dorothy's Return.

In addition to her starring role on Glee, Michele has landed several guest roles on shows such as The Cleveland Show, where she appeared as her Glee character Rachel Berry, Third Watch, The Simpsons, and Top Chef, where she was seen as a guest judge.

Up next for Michele is her first studio album, Louder, which is set to be released on March 4, 2014.

Michele also continues to star in Glee, which currently airs every Tuesday night on FOX at 8 p.m.
