'Teen Mom 3' Star Mackenzie Douthit Will Welcome Her Second Child Three Weeks Early

Mackenzie Douthit, a Type 1 Diabetic and former Teen Mom 3 star, is currently pregnant with her second child with husband Josh McKee. Unfortunately, the high-risk pregnancy has come with its challenges and a couple of hospitalizations, and now, Douthit is being forced to deliver her unborn child three weeks early.

"Last day of being pregnant = a nice hot bath and Josh playing me some music," Douthit wrote on Instagram on Feb. 6 along with a video of her husband sitting down next to her, playing his guitar.

Just a couple of months into her pregnancy, Douthit was first hospitalized after her blood sugar got too low. Because of her Diabetes, Douthit has to be extra careful that her blood sugar remains at a healthy level, otherwise, she risks falling into a coma.

At the end of last month, Douthit was hospitalized yet again. At the time, she told fans, "Being in the hospital is never fun, but it was great bonding time with my mommy."

A short time later, Douthit's mother, Angie, updated fans on Twitter, hinting that the baby could come early. "At the hospital with Mic! Trying to stop low blood sugars. Hoping to keep baby girl in for at least another week."

Just before 9 p.m. last night, Douthit took to Instagram where she shared the very last photo of her baby bump. In the caption, she wrote, "Last picture ;) 37 weeks." In the background, her husband is seen covering his face.

This will be the second child for Douthit and McKee who also have son Gannon, 2.
