Eric Decker's team may not have won the Super Bowl on Sunday night, but the wide reciever has plenty to celebrate. Not only are he and wife Jessie James expecting a baby girl in March, their E! reality series Eric & Jesse: Game On has been renewed for a second season.
On Sunday, prior to the game, James announced the news on her Facebook page along with a message to Decker which read, "Good Luck, Baby! Go Denver." In the accompanying photo, Decker and James were seen in a promo shot, which read, "Brand New Episodes Coming In March."
Less than 24 hours later, the post has been liked by nearly 18,000 fans.
On the first season of the show, Decker and James were seen moving into a new home in Denver and tying the knot in a romantic ceremony, in which James serenaded her new husband with a song she wrote of their love.
During season two, fans will be seeing Decker and James go through all the challenges that come with the addition of a baby -- all while Decker prepares for what could have been the biggest game of his career.
They may also get to see shots taken at the game, which was attended by James, despite her being just weeks away from her due date. At her recent baby shower, James told E! News that she was planning to be at the Super Bowl.
"They're chartering a private plane for all the wives, so if something goes down, they're just going to have to land it where it is and I'll have to push [the baby] out there," she joked. "But [I] can't miss the Super Bowl, it's a once in a lifetime opportunity."
Regarding the baby news, James recently told E! News that she and Decker have already chosen a name. "Eric and I have picked a name," James revealed. "We're not ready to share that yet, but we've kinda knew that we wanted this name even before we knew it was a girl. But I will say that her middle name will be my middle name which is Rose."
