Drew Barrymore and husband Will Kopelman are currently expecting their second child, but this time around, the actress isn't stressing when it comes to her weight gain -- or the pressure to lose the weight after having a baby. Instead, she's enjoying this exciting time in her life.
"It's like, you're pregnant don't be worried about it. Just be healthy and take good care of yourself. Strike a balance but enjoy food. This is the time," Barrymore explained to The Insider co-anchor Thea Andrews.
And when it comes to getting into a bikini, as many celebrities do after giving birth, Barrymore is in no rush. "I'm not concerned. It's not my thing. I have many other fish to fry," she said. "I have like talents in other areas. It's never been wearing a bikini. Actually, when I'm pregnant, I have like a flatter stomach than normal. It's tight!"
"You get it back. I got it back last time," Barrymore continued of her body before baby. "I gave myself at least the nine months it took to build. No crash. No speed diet. Nothing silly. Just slow and steady wins the race."
Barrymore and Kopelman, the son of former Chanel CEO Arie Kopelman, began dating in early 2011 and announced their engagement in Jan. 2012. The pair then wed on June 2, 2012, and just three months later, on Sept. 26, 2012, welcomed daughter Olive Barrymore Kopelman.
In April of last year, Barrymore opened up to In Touch Weekly about her weight loss plan following the birth of Olive.
"I'd rather kill myself than get into a bikini right now!" Barrymore said at the time. "I take care of myself. But I'm never going to be the person who talks about diet and exercise - I would fail that conversation!"
While Barrymore and Kopelman have not revealed the child's due date, Barrymore did reveal last month that they would be having another girl.
