Jerseylicious star Tracy DiMarco's husband Corey Epstein was arrested earlier this month after he reportedly sold oxycodone pills as part of a Staten Island drug sting involving 24 other people.
According to the NY Daily News, Epstein allegedly sold three oxycodone pills to an undercover officer outside of New Springville home on Jan. 2.
In a statement made on Monday, Staten Island District Attorney Daniel Donovan told press, "No matter what powder or pill you push, whether it be cocaine or oxycodone, the law enforcement community of Staten Island will band together to bring you to justice."
NYPD Commissioner Bill Bratton added that the 16-month probe dubbed "Silent Hill" spanned across "multiple neighborhoods on Staten Island and seeped into parks and areas near playgrounds and schools where innocent children would gather."
Shortly after the arrest, DiMarco took to Instagram where she shared her feelings about the arrest with fans.
"I'm happy [the DA] is trying to get everything cleared up and drugs off the street," DiMarco wrote in the now-deleted post. "I've never done and never will do any sort of drug I don't even smoke cigarettes or weed. I'm very straight edged & I am supportive of what he's trying to do however I don't think Corey's face and name should be splashed across the magazines tabloids & newspapers just bc he's on a show it makes him look like he ran a cartel or something it's INSANE !!"
"The only thing my husband is guilty of is having a prescription," DiMarco explained to the NY Daily News. "We know the truth will come out."
Apparently, DiMarco's husband has a prescription for Oxycodone because of an injury he sustained during a 2009 nightclub stabbing.
