Is Britney Spears Engaged To Boyfriend David Lucado?

Britney Spears stepped out with a new ring on her ring finger over the weekend, and now, the rumor mill is buzzing with reports that the pop star could be engaged to boyfriend David Lucado.

On Saturday, Jan. 25, Spears attended her son's soccer game wearing the mystery ring, and according to reports, she wasn't trying to hide it one bit.

In early December, Spears appeared on The Ellen Degeneres Show where she told the host that she and Lucado were in love. During the appearance, Spears revealed that she and Lucado met at a party where they were introduced by mutual friends.

"I love him," Spears told Degeneres of her man.

Also during the interview, Spears admitted that she and Lucado are far from perfect and often have what she called a "tiffy." For instance, on the night before the interview, Lucado forgot to return his lady's call for six hours, which Spears wasn't happy about.

Luckily, they have gotten past that "tiffy" and may now be headed to the altar.

If so, it wouldn't come as much of a surprise. Spears has been gushing for months about her man and appears completely head over heels in love.

"I'm in love ... I like the fact that [Lucado is] very stubborn and he's stuck in his ways," Spears told Entertainment Tonight in November of 2013. "He's just a simple man. I adore him. He's really funny and he's really passionate. I love the fact that anything he's involved in he's passionate about and it's contagious." 

Spears has been married twice before, once in July of 2004 to childhood friend Jason Alexander, and a second time to Kevin Federline, the father of her two sons in September of 2004. Spears' first marriage was annulled 55 hours after the Las Vegas ceremony took place. Spears and Federline's marriage ended in July of 2007.
