Jenelle Evans revealed in the Teen Mom 2 trailer that she had aborted the child she conceived with her husband Courtland Rogers, and now, just weeks after discovering the heartbreaking news, Rogers is speaking out about the secret that she kept from him.
"I did not know that Jenelle had gotten pregnant and she didn't talk to me about getting an abortion," Rogers revealed in a Jan. 20 interview with Radar Online. "It's not fair that I found out about the pregnancy on a Teen Mom commercial! I didn't know anything until I got out because I was trying to stay away from the drama. It breaks my heart. It hurts a lot inside. The fact that I had a kid and I didn't even know I had a kid."
While Rogers admits he would have been torn about what to do with the pregnancy, he says either way he would have liked to play a part in the decision.
"I would have been tremendously upset," he said. "I would have like to have had a say in what happened, at least have Jenelle talk to me. Anything would have been better than finding out from television."
Also hurtful about the issue was the fact that Rogers' daughter's mother, Taylor Lewis, knew about it when it was happening and didn't say a thing.
"I can't believe she wouldn't run her mouth to me," he said. "Taylor always thought Jenelle was so cool. She said, 'I'm on television so I guess being friends with Jenelle benefitted me more than you did.' She's a stupid girl."
Regardless of the hardships he's recently faced, Rogers has moved on from his and Evans' drama-filled relationship and is staying positive in his own life.
"It's like the seven months of our relationship never happened. I'm glad she's in love with somebody else."
Teen Mom 2 season five premieres on Tues, Jan. 21 at 10 p.m. on MTV.
