Cassandra Lynn Hensley Marriage, Kids, And More Personal Details Surface Following Tragic Death

Playboy Playmate Cassandra Lynn Hensley died on Wednesday night after what is rumored to have been a drug overdose, and now, the details of her life are coming forward. Not only was Hensley married, she was also a mother, leaving at least two kids behind.

Following TMZ's initial report regarding Hensley's passing, Lauren Anderson, also a Playmate, took to Twitter where she issued her condolences and revealed that Cassandra was a mother. "Unbelievably sad to learn of the death of my playmate sister @MissFeb06," she wrote. "God be with her babies #RIPCassandraLynn."

A short time later, Daily Entertainment News reported that, judging by her Facebook page, Hensley was married to a man named Gary Hensley, a physics teacher and student growth director in Newport Beach, Calif. Accoridng to the site, Gary was also the founder of a data-drive, early-warning dropout prevention software program known as Prevent.

Gary hasn't spoken out in regard to his wife's recent passing as of yet, but he did change his profile photo on his Facebook page from a solo shot of himself to one of him and Hensley. Gary received several messages with condolences on his Facebook feed.

In a third report by Nik Richie's TabRag, Playboy Playmate Tina Jordan responded to her friend's tragic passing, offering even more details.

"Cassandra Lynn was [a] very dear friend of mine. Our daughters used to play together and carve pumpkins together. She was a great mom and I knew she was trying to do her best," Jordan said. "I could always tell something was bothering her inside and not quite sure if I could ever pinpoint what it was. But there are times when I felt she was hurting inside... And I did my best whenever I could to always be there for her."

"When she moved and got married, I actually thought maybe she found happiness and peace," Jordan recalled. "Gary treated her amazing & their kids. I am so saddened by this. She was fun to be around. She will be deeply missed."
