Actor David Arquette was very excited to be a dad for the second time around as he talked about his girlfriend's pregnancy at The Art of Elysium's 7th Annual HEAVEN Gala in Los Angeles on Jan. 11.
The actor is already a parent to 9-year-old daughter Coco with ex-wife Courteney Cox.
"I've done it once," he told Us Weekly. "It's all new, but it's all beautiful."
He also told People that "there's not that fear that a first-time parent has because you just don't know what to expect."
"Animals across the world have babies and they know how to take care of them instinctually. Us humans get so in our heads about it all but as soon as the baby comes it is just instinct."
According to Us Weekly, he is less scared this time and he's excited for a lot of things such as "playing catch, making [his son] laugh, and seeing my girlfriend Christina being a mother for the first time and all the joy and love that it's going to bring her and me."
When asked about the baby's name, he said that he would want something traditional for his first son.
He told E! News: "I've been a bit cryptic about it. It's going to be the name of my grandfather used to play."
"He was Cliff Arquette, but that's not the name we are thinking of."
It was his ex-wife who appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show and accidentally revealed that he was going to be a father again.
"They're going to have a baby boy," Cox said to host Ellen DeGeneres.
When asked what were Coco's feelings about being a big sister, her answer was that Coco is "really excited."
"At first she was nervous because, you know, it's a big deal. At first, I was nervous," Cox continued.
"I was like woo, heavy. Now it's great and we actually all had dinner the other night. The whole family. It's a very unique relationship. All of us like literally me, and Christina and David and Coco. It's great though."
