Miley Cyrus' Los Angeles home was targeted by burglars last month and now, it is being suspected that the thieves were closer to Cyrus than she may want to admit. At the end of November, Cyrus came home to find that many pricey items, including jewelry and purses were stolen from her home, but oddly, there were no signs of forced entry, leading cops to believe this may have been an inside job.
According to the police report issued in November, an estimated $100,000 worth of goods were stolen from Cyrus' home while she was out, celebrating her birthday, and while they weren't able to catch the crook, they were reportedly able to get some decent leads after watching numerous surveillance videos which had been taken at the home.
Now, over one month after the crime, police appear convinced that it was someone Cyrus knew who stole the jewelry and purses.
"They've looked at various surveillance videos from Miley's home and the homes of neighbors ... and there's no sign of anyone suspicious entering or leaving her house," TMZ reported. "What's more ... there's no sign of forced entry."
Since Cyrus had a number of workers at her home during the time the incident occurred, police are now questioning those employees, wondering which one may have gotten off with the valuables.
This isn't the first time Cyrus' has been the victim of a home robbery. Last year, an intruder attempted to force his way into the former Disney star's home, armed with a pair of scissors. Luckily, she wasn't home at the time.
