Penelope Cruz: Breastfeeding Is Addictive

Penélope Cruz has been away from the spotlight this year. She revealed that she is just enjoying motherhood.

She is the cover girl for Allure for its January edition.  She welcomed her baby girl, Luna in July with husband Javier Bardem.

"I was breast-feeding my son 13 months, and I plan to do the same with my daughter," she told Allure magazine. "[Nursing] is addictive. It's hard when the day comes when you have to stop."

She also revealed about her childhood memories in the interview. "In my house every Sunday, everybody was cleaning the house. There was always music, and everybody was dancing, sometimes naked around the house. Not hippie, but very free."

The 39-year-old actress did not talk about her current home life with her husband but she did flash her huge diamond wedding ring on the interview. What she did talked about was her famous friendship with Salma Hayek.

"She's one of my best friends. We call each other huevos [eggs]. It was because when we were working together, we didn't have children yet, so we used to sleep much more than now. So it was a way to call each other lazy. We slept in the same bed so many times and it was like she was always trying to wake me up and call me huevos."
