Lady Gaga Arrived on a White Horse at 2013 American Music Awards

Lady Gaga always make sure that she has a grand entrance to most of the awards show. She made an entrance at the 2011 Grammy Awards encased in a giant egg. This time, she arrived at the 2013 American Music Awards on Sunday night riding sidesaddle on a white puppet horse that is animated by two men, E! News reported.

It seemed like she channeled the legend of Lady Godiva who rode naked through the UK city of Coventry in the medieval times. But the star kept her clothes on. She was wearing a one shoulder purple Versace dress.

She happily greeted the fans and even blew kisses. She needed extra help from an assistant to dismount the white puppet horse.

The Applause singer was looking happy and relaxed before taking the stage and performing her latest single Do What U Want together with R Kelly.

Meanwhile, Lady Gaga is also joining forces with Versace. The Italian fashion company named her as the face of their Spring/Summer 2014 campaign.

The Versace brand tweeted on Saturday, Nov. 23: "#Versace proudly confirms @LadyGaga as the face of SS14 campaign shot by Mert Alas & Marcus Piggott #VersaceLovesGaga"

The Monster Queen also tweeted about her excitement: "I'm so happy to be working w/ @Versace for the new Campaign! What do you wanna wear this Spring?#Donatella #famiglia."
